What may cause a delayed or denial on my application?

A delayed or denied decision on your application can result from failing to submit the requested documents or by sending poorly scanned documents. It can also result from an opened case pending a response. Applicants will receive an e-mail letter indicating the issues or documentation needed for the application to be completed. A new payment will be required if denied.

Can I copy and paste information from a document into my visa application?

Yes, you can copy and paste information from software such as Microsoft Word and paste it into the text fields of the online form. However, if you attempt to save a copy of the application, personal information will not transmit over for viewing. Applicants are only permitted to see the complete application when logged into their profile.

How do I change or update information I have provided on my visa application?

If you need to change information on your visa application, you should immediately contact the help desk to ensure your application was updated prior to submission for approval.

When can I attach documents to an online application?

You must first log into your profile. You can delete or attach documents to your visa application at any time until it is submitted. Once the application is submitted, you must call the help desk to ensure the information was updated before the application is finalized.

Can I get a copy of my visa application emailed to me?

Applicants can access their visa application through Lesotho Visa Service website. Simply go to any web page and select “Check Visa Status” to login within the allotted 5-day period.

I clicked on the link in the e-mail to activate my account, but when I attempt to log in, I get an error message that says I have not activated by account.

If you receive this error message: "You didn't activate your account yet", please check your email account for activation OR launch a new application. Just return to your e-mail, copy and paste the URL link into the browser and log in again.

I received an e-mail about submitting my application. Where do I go to submit my application, and how can I determine if my application was submitted?

Simply go to the website and log into your profile (Check Visa Status to login). Once you have accessed your profile, you will automatically be taken to the "Application Status" page. Click on the link that says "submit application for processing. Once the application is submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirmation letter.

What happens if my visa expires while I am still in Lesotho?
